Alan James Yu, Ph.D.
Born and raised in the United States, Alan is the developer of Wirausaha Bali’s international programming and fundraising strategy. He aims to raise awareness and empower international and local communities through cross-cultural educational programming in leadership, entrepreneurship, and service learning. Alan has four years of experience teaching leadership and creativity at University of San Diego using arts-based approaches such as theater, taiko drumming, filmmaking, painting, creative writing, cooking, dance, and other art forms. He earned his doctorate in leadership studies from University of San Diego.
I Ketut Widiadnyana
I Ketut Widiadnyana and is wife Dr. Wayan are social entrepreneurs who are working to preserve this art that is on the verge of cultural extinction. Balinese songkets are a beautiful time-honored tradition. This art features a sewing of complex designs into a large piece of fabric. Observe how songkets are made. I Putu Wira Guna
Wira hails from Yehembang village in West Bali. He is the community development strategist for Wirausaha Bali. He actively works with the local community to seek out new opportunities and partnerships and was successful in negotiating with the Yehembang community to get four hectares of land for work on various projects. As a public speaker, he presents on the importance of social entrepreneurship, collective enterprise, and community involvement for environmental and cultural sustainability in Bali and has been featured in Hubud’s Pecha Kucha evening event series and Green School’s Conference on Sustainable Solutions.

I Wayan Diandra, a popular Balinese village leader and Village governance is focused on maintaining and preserving ancient customs and philosophy that have sustained the culture for over 1500 years.
